On Friday 28th February in the Galmont Hotel, BPW Galway will host their annual Candle Lighting Supper, this event celebrates the alliance between all BPW members globally and is a wonderful evening of celebration and socialising.
Guest speaker on the night is writer, producer and director Anne McCabe who will entertain and enthral guests as she provides insight to her varied and fulfilling roles as an intrinsic figure of the arts and culture in Galway and beyond for numerous years. A key member of RTE for many years, she was one of the founding team involved in the set-up of TG4. Former Artistic Director at An Taibhdhearc, she is currently the acting manager of the Galway Music Residency, who manage ConTempo Quartet. An author, theatre producer and advocate for women in the arts her story of success is both colourful and inspiring.

With Galway firmly on the map as European Capital of Culture in 2020, we are as a club for women across business and the professions embracing culture and the arts in a much more definitive way over the coming months and are thrilled to welcome Anne as a guest speaker to this prestigious International event as our guest speaker.
