BPW Galway hosts Annual Summer Lunch 2024 in the Ardilaun Hotel

The Summer Lunch is the flagship event of the BPW Year and enjoyed by all.

Collaboration: 2020 Theme for Summer Lunch

Held in the Ardilaun Hotel on the 19th May, this year’s Summer Lunch reflected the Theme of BPW Galway for 2024, which is collaboration. Galway President, Louise Creevy, explained that from the international presence at the Summer Lunch, it is clear how different nationalities are coming together to learn and advocate for women worldwide. BPW Galway continues to support these values.

Guest Speaker Caroline Keeling

The guest speaker was Caroline Keeling from Keelings Fruit. Caroline spoke with MC, Ger Lally, about her journey Caroline Keeling is the CEO of Keelings. Keelings is a 100% Irish-owned family business which started producing fruits and salads on their farm in the 1930’s supplying produce to local Dublin markets. Keelings are focused on growing and sourcing the best fresh produce from around the world. The Company has expanded to its current size with 5 divisions – Keelings Retail, Keelings Farm Fresh, Keelings Market, Keelings International and Keelings Solutions. Keelings is headquartered in FoodCentral, Co. Dublin, Ireland but has operations in Ireland, in the UK, Europe and Asia. Keelings employs over 2,000 people.
